Probably one of the beta versions of teTeX 3.0.

This is also the output in 2.0.2-24 (the change from TeX to e-TeX was
with 2.0.2-17). But there have been quite some important bugfixes since
then, you should really think about upgrading.

Well, all Hilmar said is that it is fixed _upstream_. It is not yet
fixed in Debian, and teTeX 3.0 will not be in sarge. At least I hope so,
which means I hope that sarge will be released before teTeX 3.0 has
matured. We will, however, provide infrastructure for backports of 3.0
to sarge.

I suggest that you really update to 2.0.2-24, there are even security
holes in the pdf inclusion code up to 2.0.2-23. But this bug will not be
fixed without an upgrade to teTeX 3.0.
