Anyway, > the 1.0.2+20011202-2 should not remove /etc/texmf/dvips/updmap as it > was not obsolete at that time. hi guys (as I clearly state in the bug report), I tried to upgrade tetex-base from the woody version (that is 1.0.2+20011202-2 ) to the sarge version (that is 2.0.2c-1 ); this upgrade failed; then 'apt-get' forced me to clean up the mess, by doing 'apt-get -f install', and evidently this somehow brought back the version 1.0.2+20011202-2 ; so when I sent the bug, 'reportbug' put that version in the bug report (and I did not notice).
