Well, I never used this package and don't understand Arabic at all, so I
wouldn't really be able to say whether the package is usable after the
fix. I think what is needed is that someone actually tries to use
arabtex on unstable to make sure it is OK. As you could see, checking
that it builds (with a lintian "E: arabtex:
file-in-etc-not-marked-as-conffile /etc/texmf/dvips/arabtex.map",
however) and installs without barking is not sufficient.
If there is no such person and noone has reported (through the BTS) that
it doesn't work since the upload of tetex 2, I think the package should
be removed from testing...
