Copyright for font files.

I'm the maintainer of new package with TrueType fonts which are based
on tetex-base package. My package has been rejected by James Troup.
In fact he didn't agree about copyright file for the package.

My question: what is the copyright of these fonts? The source for the
fonts are *.pbf files. The fonts are cmex10, cmmi10, cmr10, cmsy10,
msam10, msbm10, wasy10.
