Bug#208507: tetex-extra: listings package won't load with fancyvrb [TeX Capacity Exceeded]

(would you be so kind and keep the bug number in the Cc:, so that the
mails get archived?)

Hm, strange. Here it does compile with LaTeX and pdfLaTeX. As far as I
see, this is one of the rare cases where "TeX capacity exceeded" really
means what it says, not "Someone made a very stupid error". Namely, you
have to increase pools size.

I have pool_size = 1250000, and when I reduce it to 70000, I get an
error, too. However, I don't understand why the error message is

ERROR: TeX capacity exceeded, sorry [pool size=47500].

Anyway, the pool_size value for current tetex is 1250000 by
default. Could you please give us the output of

ls -l /usr/share/texmf/web2c
ls -l /usr/share/texmf/web2c/texmf.cnf

Thank you,
