Re: .bash_profile not executed with k/gdm

 For console -> .bash_profile
 For terminal (xterm, konsole, etc) -> .bashrc
 
 You can put inside .bashrc the line: 
. ~/.bash_profile
to load the .bash_profile configuration on .bashrc
