No, not "in the contrary", you think exactly the same, just the other
way round: Some of us think that bidding already for DC13 is too
early and that we should make a bid for a later DebConf instead, i.e.
DC14 (in case it goes to Asia) or DC15.

They were used for FrOSCamp IIRC (or were they not ETH one's?) and
that topic at least came up in one of the meetings.

Yeah, and my opinion is to have a MiniDC _done_ _before_ we set a bid,
but there was no consensus on that. It seemed to be that more people
see a MiniDC as e.g. venue test, i.e. having the MiniDC at a future
DebConf venue. Others disagree, also because having two bigger events
at the same venue may lead to less attraction for the second event,
i.e. the "real" DebConf.
