For sparc64, the following has been verified to work:
$ debootstrap --no-check-gpg --arch=sparc64 --foreign unstable
sparc64-chroot ftp://ftp.debian-ports.org/debian
$ chroot sparc64-chroot
$ ./debootstrap/debootstrap --second-stage
Normally, it should work without "--foreign" and consecutive running
of "./debootstrap/debootstrap --second-stage" but we are currently
running into a problem with the postinst script of the systemd
package which I haven't been able to solve yet. Looks quoting
issue with the shell script.
This will give you a minimal Debian sparc64 root filesystem from
which you can set up your system manually (APT, APT keys, networking
and so on).
