You could also try lxc. It is supposedly the way of the future,
although it is rather poorly documented ATM. It seems to work ok
on sparc, although I haven't converted my OpenVZ box yet.

There's also libvirt, which should be basically the same with a
different frontend. I haven't tried it yet, mostly because the
configuration syntax for LXC is much nicer. (libvirt uses XML.)
