8.5sec almost backs up my result of 11sec.

At 1.2GHz per core (sure, it looks like 32 cores to OS but you should still be able to use 1 of 4 cores at full speed), this is still very weak result compared to x86.

At this point I'm almost sure I'm chasing for performance that just isn't there. And this is getting totally not-debian-related :)
