Please try the latest daily sarge installer version from

http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/sid_d-i/sparc/current/

Yesterday's daily worked without problems for me (on SS10). If you will 
encounter any problems, submit an installation report using the template 
available at

http://www.debian.org/devel/debian-installer/report-template
