[SUMMARY] Testing 2.6.10 on sparc

Hello,

Thanks to everyone who tested 2.6.10 on their machines. This poll provided
lots of valuable information, detailing the potential RC problems for the new kernel version. I have summarized it by category on the SparcKernelStatus wiki page [0]. Feel free to correct and update it.

It looks like the debian-kernel and debian-boot team have agreed [1] that the next candidate release of installer (RC3) will still feature 2.6.8 kernel (the new version of which, taking care of bug #288180, will hopefully get uploaded soon). After that, depending on the time frame for sarge release and status of RC bugs, 2.6.10 might be given a chance to enter testing. Most architectures already have or are busy preparing the 2.6.10 kernel for unstable. So if you feel like fixing one of the bugs, dig right in :-).
