Sarge on Sun Ultra 60

i've just tried to install debian sarge on a sparc ultra 60 machine.
The Problem is: When setup auto-detect cdrom-drives and wants to load the "sym53c8xx_2" for "Symbios Logic Inc. / NCR 53c875" driver, the system hangs with no error message.

I've also tried to load the "sym53c8xx_2" driver via modprobe. But no effect. This is the error-message I got when loading the "sym53c8xx_2" driver via modprobe:

~ # modprobe sym53c8xx_2
Using /lib/modules/2.7.27-2-sparc64/kernel/drivers/scsi/scsi_mod.o
Using /lib/modules/2.4.27-2-sparc64/kernel/drivers/scsi/sym53c8xx_2/sym53c8xx_2.o

tsk->{mm,active_mm}->pgd = fffff800bf2c5000
Kernel panic: Aiee, killing interrupt handler!
In interrupt handler - not syncing

In the messages-window I got the following messages:
kernel: scsi: device set offline - not ready or command retry failed after bus reset: host 0 channel 0 id 0 lun 0
sym0:1:0: ABORT operation started.
sym0:1:0: ABORT operation timed-out.
sym0:1:0: DEVICE RESET operation started.

Please help.
