The patch is now committed to all 2.6 branches of the debian-kernel SVN and will be included in the upcoming releases of kernel-source 2.6.8-16, 2.6.10-7 and 2.6.11-4. The unofficial 2.6.8 kernel image with this patch
included may be downloaded from [0].
