Sarge netboot images for Sparc64 and UFS
Hi,
I am trying to use a netbootable sarge as a rescue image for a
Solaris box.
The idea is to boot sarge and mount the appropriate UFS filesystems
to be able to repair what needs to be repaired.
It seems, however, that the mount shipped in the netboot image does
not support UFS, or has some other problem. Also, the partitioner says
that the partitions do not contain filesystems. If I try to mount from
the shell, no matter which partition I try, I always get the same:
# mount -t ufs /dev/discs/disc0/part3
/mnt/
mount: Mounting /dev/discs/disc0/part3 on /mnt failed: No such device
Any ideas on how to do this? TIA.
