It is broken. Keith M. Wesolowski (sp?) is occassionally working on it.
Please join the sparclinux@vger.kernel.org mailing list and read the
archive of the last two months (it's a low volume list).
If you do have some Sparc32 know-how, please feel free to contribute.
There seem to be quite some people willing to *use* these machines, but
there are too little with actual knowledge to really help :(
