I'm not an expert, and I'm not sure I understood your question
correctly. However, I think you have to set 'auto-boot?' to true and
'boot-device' to disk. To do that, type at the 'ok'-prompt after
power-on:

setenv auto-boot? true
setenv boot-device disk
