 I think this is our gcc wrapper coming up to bite someone else.  Please do
sparc32 /bin/bash then try building.

 I think we should throw away the gcc wrapper.  Currently gcc-3.3 defaults
to the 32 bit arch then switches to 64 bit arch only when -m64 is provided.
This is probably what most people expect so I think the gcc wrapper should
be thrown away.
