Hi!

I've just bought a SUN Ultra1. Now I want to install Debian on it. I also got therefore an external SCSI-CD-ROM. But on the installed harddisk, there is an old version of SunOS, which always boots. So, my question is: Is there a way to pass an argument additionally to "boot-device = disk" to specify the drive(SCSI-ID), from which to boot?

When the UltraSPARC logo comes up (when it first boots), hit STOP+A.
That should get you an "ok>" prompt. At this prompt, type "boot cdrom".

Thanks.

Carsten.
