A little more information.
I use to have to disks simultaneously in the system (sda and sdb).
I tried with each of the disk alone.

In the boot phase, I am getting

With the setup with a single disk, I get a
"The filesystem was not created."
and during one of the tests it sent me back to the list of choices.
I picked "execute a shell" as you advised, dmesg gives :
