missing K widgets

Hi ppls

My widget set for almost all my K stuff is missing, i don't even get the 
KDE splash screen when I choose KDM.

Have got woody installed from a cd set that was sampled last month ( i 
believe).

Is there an obvious packaging problem that anyone is aware of?
