I'm not quite sure what you mean.  I would have thought the sparc updates
would be as frequent as the i386 updates. Aren't these all supposed to
move more or less in lock-step? And in what way is your mirror helpless? I
have been using http.us.debian.org.  I hope I will be able to continue
using it.
