Problem: optical mouse and xserver in Debian 2.2r2
Hi. I have come across the following mouse problem in Debian 2.2r2:
An optical mouse (Sun no. 370-1170-01, works o.k. under Solaris)
doesn't react under Debian (startx just shows the Debian logo and sleeps).
A nonoptical mouse ("COMPACT 1", Sun no. 370-1586-03) works perfectly on
the same system!
I have experienced this problem with two optical mice, one of them was
working _sometimes_.
configuration details:
xserver-xsun_3.3.6-11potato15.deb + twm_3.3.6-11potato15.deb
on Sparc 1+ with Type 5 keyboard
