mozilla bloat ware ?

       Hi all,
Can anyone explains why mozila becomes so big now. The M17
take 12 MB in .deb format (about 40 MB instaled it seems), a doubling
of size from M15:

-rw-r--r-- 1 phamtuan install 6234100 Jul 6 12:42 mozilla_M15-2.deb
-rw-r--r-- 1 phamtuan install 12020356 Sep 13 17:46 mozilla_M17-3.deb

Similarly, the intel version of mozilla just (amazingly) doubles its
size from M17-1 to M17-3

-rw-r--r-- 1 phamtuan install 7601914 Sep 15 18:04 mozilla_M17-1_i386.deb
-rw-r--r-- 1 phamtuan install 11825030 Sep 13 18:28 mozilla_M17-3.deb

However, the tar.gz file on the mozilla.org site are only 7.2 MB (dfor
sparc) and 7.7 MB (for intel)

I remember some time ago when mozilla M12 (or netsacpe 6.0) is
presented to the press, it has been praised as much leaner than
netscape. But its size now already far exceed netscape.

I am longing for the day of netscape 3.x: fast and lean

By the way, has debian any plan to incorporate galeon, a lean browser
based on Gecko, as its author says.
