some ramdisk questions

I tried to use several versions of rescue and boot disks to install Debian
from disks for a Sparc 1+ (8MB RAM).
1. When the installation process tries to load the rescue disk,
   the following is reported:
"16 RAM disks of 4096k size"
Is "16" correct? If not, how can I change this. (I checked ramdisk.txt,
but couldn't find any options for this.)
2. At the SUN prompt, I type "> b fd(0)". Is this correct?
3. At the SILO prompt, I type "linux" or "linux root=/dev/fd0".
   Is this correct?

Ciao
Sven
