Re: Configure tape drive ?



Ok I found my problem ... I see a number behind all disk & tape drive. I didn't know what is it .... and see two '4'
on a the tape drive and the Conner hard drive ...
Ok i understand what's this number is : the target of SCSI. I didn't  know that is put  manually ! So I put '6' and
the tape drive and all is gone ....
Now I see the tape drive in /proc/scsi.
But there is no device /dev/tape. It this set by kernel and point to /dev/st0 ?
Must I recompile my kernel ?
