Kernel complile error [HELP]

Hello...

I'm use sparc station 20 with potato... 

Kernel compile with SMP mode and run silo.

reboot system message got "kernel FloatingPenguinUnit disable" and

spin_lock(f01ab87c) CPU#1 stuck at f0029f04, owner PC(f0027960):CPU(1) displayed..

I'm use gcc-2.95.2-pre0 and kernel 2.2.12...
