Heh I am still on 2.0.35 :)

Had an uptime of 193 days on my IPC with Debian. Course it hadn't been
 updatedin packages since well before the first stable sparc release...
(still getting all those "Unimplimented system call"s).

but...
I have been runing 2.1x kernels since 2.1.119 on systems from 2.0 on up
and I have personally run into no problems at all.
(on i386 even)
