Get teh latest kernel on there and it should be a lot better 2.1.13[01]
ran well for me for quite awhile. I'm using 2.2.1+davem's patch now and
it seems pretty stable. The 2.0.x kernels do not fix the slow down bug
in the older sun4c's, that you are experiencing.
