exp broken in libc6 ?

Hi,

I'm using glibc 2.0.93-980414-1 and kernel 2.0.34 (sparclinux-2.0-980625).

$ less chris.c
#include <math.h>
main() {
exp(1);
}
$ gcc -lm chris.c
$ ./a.out
Floating point exception (core dumped)

A library bug ?
