booting a SunSparc SLC via network (RARP & TFTP)
Hi there!
I tried to install Debian Sparc-Linux onto an ancient SparcSLC over the
network. I applied the files found in the "current" directory of "disks-sparc"
from today.
The machine booted the kernel until it reached the serial driver configs
the messages I got:
...
Linux version 2.0.33 (root@deedee) (gcc version 2.7.2.3) #6
Sun May 24 16:50:09 CEST 1998
Starting kswapd v. 1.4.2.2
Sparc Zilog8530 serial driver version 1.18.2.15
tty00 at 0xffd02004 (irq = 12) is a Zilog8530
tty01 at 0xffd00004 (irq = 12) is a Zilog8530
tty02 at 0xffd00004 (irq = 12) is a Zilog8530
tty03 at 0xffd00000 (irq = 12) is a Zilog8530
Then the display flickered three or four times and the message:
Watchdog reset
WINDOW UNDERRUN
ok
appears
any help is appreciated,
Bernd
