Question on debsig-verify
I'm trying to figure out what is missing. I've got a
chrooted environment in which I'm building a base.tgz,
and on some dpkg's I am getting errors:
debsig-verify --list-policies dhcp-client_2.0pl5-11_i386.deb
debsig: Listing usable policies
debsig: Origin Signature check failed. This deb might not be signed.
dpkg --no-act --install dhcp-client_2.0pl5-11_i386.deb
Authenticating dhcp-client_2.0pl5-11_i386.deb ...
debsig: Origin Signature check failed. This deb might not be signed.
dpkg: error processing dhcp-client_2.0pl5-11_i386.deb (--install):
Verification on package dhcp-client_2.0pl5-11_i386.deb failed!
Errors were encountered while processing:
dhcp-client_2.0pl5-11_i386.deb
Outside the chroot:
debsig-verify --list-policies dhcp-client_2.0pl5-11_i386.deb
debsig: Listing usable policies
debsig: Origin Signature check failed. This deb might not be signed.
dpkg --no-act --install dhcp-client_2.0pl5-11_i386.deb
Selecting previously deselected package dhcp-client.
(Reading database ... 87850 files and directories currently installed.)
Unpacking dhcp-client (from dhcp-client_2.0pl5-11_i386.deb) ...
So what have I neglected in my chroot environment?
