from packages.debian.org:

unstable ssh 1:3.5p1-4 
testing ssh 1:3.4p1-4
stable ssh 1:3.4p1-1

Those packet numbers correspond in some way with the open ssh versions.
Do you see what I mean? And in stable and testing open ssh 3.4 is to be
found. 3.5 only in unstable.
