Hi

I do have a ghini.desktop-3.1 version, using Python3.  it works, but has
some curious delays ›after‹ larger queries, as if something got stuck in
memory.  it's several months I've not touched it.  it uses champlain and
one thing I keep postponing is removing the dependency from fibra.

also this ghini.desktop-3.1 is on github, in case you want to check and
inform me of any packaging trouble there.
