It was something 'recommended' by the policy, but I found it useful anyway and I started to use it with urdfdom, while updating (some minutes ago) the urdfdom package to new version 0.2.10. BTW, I'm double checking with urdfdom upstream the policy on ABI/API, please hold on the upload until I'm sure about how is this going to be handled. Thanks very much for the review.
