I tried to package newer versions in the previous years, but I found
some copyright issues that prevented me to do so. I tried to contact
upstream and didn't get any answer from them, so I let it be. Last
time I checked is seemed that those copyright issues were gone, but I
guess I just didn't find time for it. I'd be really glad to
team-maintain it, so it's OK for me. Anyway, I have never used git
myself before, so I'm kinda a bit lost with it. It would be a great
excuse to learn git, I simply hope that it doesn't have a very
difficult learning curve.

To sum up, I think it will be great to maintain it in a team, but I
have never used git before, so I'm open to suggestions about how to do
it :)
