I am aware of openMosix, my Quantian distribution has been shipping with it
for quite some time now. But in what I need for a project now ought to be a
tad simpler (no new Kernel), may upset openMosix due its use of
multi-threading (which works in some variants and not others and I always
forget which) and may well require newer kernels on some of the hardware.

So back to non-packaged batch system, or simple ssh via shell scripts hacks.

Cheers, Dirk
