Re: devfs



As far as I can tell you are trying to install an newer version of debian
(or any other linux distribution) using your up and (natively e.i. in LPAR
mode) running debian system?

If this is the case check the debian installation manual at
http://www.debian.org/releases/stable/s390/install paragraph 3.7 'Installing
Debian GNU/Linux from a Unix/Linux System'. This should help you to get you
on your way!
