есть hsf и hcf модемы . у меня драйвер - только под hcf модем .
как различить - по
$ lspci -n
в CONEXANT+ROCKWELL-modem-HOWTO .
у меня напр . 14f1:10b6
так что если hcf - пиши .
но в этом HOWTO как-то странно .

chipsets with the device ID of 1025) to work under Linux by using the HSF
driver, however little firm information is known about this. If you
