It seems to have occurred more than once. So yes, we need a stronger
guard against this.


FWIW I'm not spotting any obviously wrongly-sized bugscan files around
then, looking on buxtehude.

Right, all files on 2023-10-09 and 2023-10-10 mention #1020507, so *that* case wasn't caused by loss of info on the bts side. I'll check later if the bts misrepresented the bug before britney migrated the package, but it's bed time now.
