Hello, I need some help....
I purchased the Debian version shown in Subject box above.
I like it but after a week, i see it needs updated to be more compatible with my 64 bit laptop.
1) when installing, the install could not find any Mirrors that would work, i tried many.
2) now when trying to update with the Apt-Get or other similar commands it tries to get updates but gives me error messages saying "cannot open folders, permissions not given, etc..."
3) so i tried to change permissions for root, lists, dpkg folders, but permissions menu picks will not let me change anything, it only displays the status and does not permit any changes.
Please give me some direction to go in, at this point i just want to give it a bad rating in Amazon and pitch the disk.
