That version of Debian was released in late 2011, and the 6.0.X series
has been unsupported for nearly two years now.
At this point, I'd suggest starting with the current stable release,
9.3, aka "stretch". If you need any support with that, please contact
the debian-user mailing list, or use the other resources listed at http
s://www.debian.org/support ; the debian-release list which you have
contacted is for release management and is not able to provide user
support.
