 Sure, it could be done via t-p-u if Julien allows it.
Still, please consider that 3.4.13 is in the archives for over a month
now without any bugs filed against it. Actually version 3.4.x is in
bugfix mode only and fixes several upstream bugs[1].

    Fix invalid transform when switching between linear and log axes.
    Fix number formatting of groups with very small or very large
numbers in exponent notation.
    Fix number formatting with explicit minus ("-") sign.
    Fix loss of precision during linear interpolation.
    Fix crash in d3.layout.stack when passed an empty array.
    Fix for falsey rows when parsing DSV.
    Fix for leaked d3 global in Node.
    Fix conversion from HCL to Lab color.
    Fix for d3.mean, d3.median and d3.scale.quantile to coerce values
to numbers.
    Improve performance of d3.map and d3.set by using Object.create(null).
    Improve performance of selection.data.

3.4.12
    Fix uncaught InvalidStateError thrown when using d3.xhr with
non-text response types.
    Fix parsing of positive time zone offsets with a non-zero number of minutes.
    Update to JSDOM version 1.0.0.
    Fix selection.size on enter selections.
    Workaround a Chrome touch bug affecting d3.behavior.zoom.
