I'm glad to say that all regressions were because of some characters
stripped out the udeb and has nothing to do with upstream; I've just
committed the patch for #409509 and #409659 in svn ([1]) and created
some more screenshots.  
2.13 can now be compared to (patched) 2.14 using the following:

I've already prepared a 2.14-2 package but I'd prefere wait a little
longer before asking bubulle to upload it (let's see if anything new
comes up in the next couple of days)

IMO 2.14-2 is much better than 2.13 and think it deserves to make into etch
