Please force e2fsprogs

Hi,
e2fsprogs 1.38+1.39-WIP-2005.12.10-2 introduced a workaround for the 
timezone issues in util-linux/glibc. Since the problem broke my only 
Etch box not set on UTC, I had the "opportunity" to verify that the fix 
works. Since then, a friend complained to me about the problem and 
confirmed that upgrading e2fsprogs to the sid version worked around the 
issue.
Since then, Theodore uploaded 1.38+1.39-WIP-2005.12.31-1 with urgency 
medium on 2005-01-06. The version with the workaroud now built 
everywhere but on m68k and is ready to go in Etch after 10 days in sid 
except that according to http://packages.qa.debian.org/e/e2fsprogs.html 
the package would be frozen.
I would like if someone investigated why e2fsprogs is frozen at this 
time or otherwise consider forcing the sid version to Etch.
