I think they just changed something in their web pages the formerly
valid watch files now stumbled upon.  I do not see any reason for a
mass update.  The problem occures only if somebody wants to download
a new version by using uscan.  That's usually one of our maintainers
in the team.  If routine-update is fixing the watch file before
calling uscan no real harm is done (as far as I can see).
