Actually there is no autopkgtest regression, so indeed this is not the problem.

curl has already migrated to testing, so I don't think it is the problem
either.

For the time being I don't understand what's the problem. The answer is
hidden somewhere in britney's output:

 https://release.debian.org/britney/update_output.txt

…but it's very hard to parse. Maybe you can make sense of it?

I've asked on #debian-release, waiting for an answer.
