Package: krdc
Severity: important

(reporting as "important" because I'm unsure about the ongoing
transition to Plasma 5)

The package is currently uninstallable (it actually disappeared from
my system during a non-controlled dist-upgrade):

root@mykerinos:/home/cperrier/Téléchargements# LC_ALL=C apt-get
install krdc

Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created

Finally, I could solve this out with:

apt-get install libstreams0v5
....which removed kdesdk-strigi-plugins libstreamanalyzer0 libstreams0

then

apt-get install libstreamanalyzer0v5
apt-get install libkio5

the latter two installed a bunch of other packages, then:

apt-get install krdc

Hence, closing the bug report. The problem is obviously a "transition
something" problem.

Thanks you for your help and for the monster work on KDE package (of
which I am just a user)

I actually had a similar problem with konsole that also disappeared
during a too enthusiastic "dist-upgrade" and became installable again
with a similar manual fix.
