I recently moved my boot partition onto a SATA drive, so the physical hard
disks were swapped like:
/dev/hda -> removed
/dev/hdb -> /dev/hda
added -> /dev/sda
The contents of /dev/hda were copied to /dev/sda, which is now my boot volume.
But now when I select Log Out in KDE or Shutdown in KDM I am not presented with
boot options. It seems likely that KDM does not understand that I'm booting
from sda, not hda. Although lilo.conf does clearly say "boot=/dev/sda", so I
am unsure exactly what is going on.

I have in fact switched to grub and GNOME, so I am no longer using either of
the components that are related to this bug. :)
Sorry I don't have any new info. Feel free to close this bug if you don't
think it applies anymore or just plain don't want to deal with it, or of course
if you want to investigate it that's fine too.
