Bug#379216: kdeprint: WORKAROUND - comment out /var/run/cups/cups.sock in cupsd.conf
Package: kdeprint
Version: 4:3.5.3-2
Followup-For: Bug #379216
Florian Kulzer referenced a post of his:
http://lists.debian.org/debian-user/2006/06/msg02451.html
which suggested commenting out the /var/run/cups/cups.sock line in
/etc/cups/cupsd.conf and restarting cupsd.
This enabled the printer to be seen in the kdeprint configuration and to
be set as the default printer.
I was able to print a test page and also a page from kpdf.
